Is this a coupon or discount app?
No. frndly is built around real recommendations and verified visits, not codes or percentage-off deals.
What's the difference between a Vouch and a regular review?
A Vouch goes to your Circle, not the public, and a friend's Reward only unlocks once they've visited and tapped to confirm.
How is this different from a loyalty app or punch card?
A loyalty app tracks purchases you already made. frndly tracks something different — whether a friend's recommendation actually got someone through the door. Vouches come from people you know, not a generic rewards program, and Rewards only unlock on a confirmed, in-person tap.
Is the frndly app free to download?
Yes, the app is free for Members to download and use.

What do I get for Vouching?
Poster Rewards are funded by frndly.
What does my friend get?
Set by the business — it varies by Spot.
Is my Circle public?
No, it's private to you.
How do I invite friends?
Send an Invite directly from the app; they join your Circle once they accept.
What if my phone doesn't support NFC?
NFC tap is currently the only way to confirm a visit and redeem a Reward on frndly. There is no manual or alternate fallback at this time.
What happens if a Spot's chip is missing or not working?
Businesses can request a replacement chip through their Business Hub panel. If you run into an issue tapping in at a Spot, please contact us and let us know which Spot it happened at.

A flat fee per verified tap. No subscription, no commission.
Do I need to integrate with my POS?

Can I change my category later?
Category locks after onboarding, so choose carefully.
Who sets the customer reward?
You do, entirely.
What if our NFC chip is lost, damaged, or stops working?
You can request a replacement chip directly through your Business Hub panel.
Is there a minimum age to use frndly?
Members must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
